Introduction
This work was created from a conscious focus on light, reflection and the moment, and was subsequently printed on high-quality eco-paper.
Author's thoughts:
Christian Dior created many beautiful things: dresses, bags, jewelry, perfumes, and cosmetics of all kinds. My mother's ball gowns were by him.
Today I love one of his fragrances, his lipstick, his eye makeup, his powder. It's not the name that attracts me, it's the colors and scents, the pleasant feel on my skin, and the sense of well-being they give me. A little luxury I love, one I allow myself. I've also had his clips for a long time.
Decades ago, I was on Kärntnerstrasse, browsing the shops. I didn't intend to buy anything; I was just keeping a few things for myself. Later, when I went to pay at St. Stephen's Cathedral, I was shocked to discover that I had unknowingly taken a Dior handbag. It wasn't really to my taste. "What should I do now?" I wondered. "Should I return it? Perhaps they'll think I'm a thief?"
I'm not going back. I'll give the handbag away after some time.
