Author's thoughts:
What a work of art: Through the curtains, a part of the house opposite and a sliver of sky above find their way into the reflective wood here. Even the mysterious images that the sun and shadows, the trees and the wind have painted on the windows reveal themselves to me when I focus my gaze. Again and again, I am captivated by the images so differently drawn on the windows of the houses. I am constantly impressed by the possible reflections, by the angles from which things are mirrored. The mirrors of mirrors in the windows are a phenomenon. Just as wonderful as how we are reflected in the other! We appear different again and again, are seen, understood, interpreted. The world is complex. We are complex. And yet, everything is one in its complexity. The sky is reflected on the earth, in us. We are living mirrors, surrounded by mirrors in a mirrored world.
