Author's thoughts:
Above the water, above the sky, swift as lightning, everything here seems to move in a stormy flurry. It's wonderful that we can travel from one place in the world to another, be it by bicycle, car, train, or plane.
I'm leaving my fear of flying behind me. I feel safer on the ground. I'm grateful that I don't have to drive for three days to visit my daughter, see my grandson, and my grandson too, but can be there in three and a half hours by plane. It's supposed to be the safest mode of transport. When my feet touch the earth again, I'll be happy!
